Steampunk ballerina Beatrix sculpture
Inspired by SLK's marrionette's, I give you my steampunk ballerina's!
Second in the series, this steampunk beauty is composed of mostly reclaimed materials, giving Beatrix a second life!
What isn't she wearing? Head to toe; her hat is a repurposed bar spout and cardboard from fireworks, face is cast resin with burned out Christmas bulbs as hair, neck collar is a recycled glass bottle and washers, torso is a sprinkler and lawn edger blade, yarn and thread grapevine scraps with a steel wire cage, arms are remnants of a curling iron and salvaged motor parts, her tutu is mostly curly pods, acrylic shards, bottle caps and a few random found objects, and her feet are piano hammers. No need to worry though, all edges have been ground and filed. She is abundant!
She measures 17" high seated, 21 1/2" including feet and her tutu is 10" wide
